About this award

VWR International LLC received a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) call order valued at $15,600 from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), a civilian agency under the National Institutes of Health. Awarded on August 28, 2018, with an ultimate completion date of June 29, 2023, this firm fixed-price contract replaced a prior requisition and involved a modification to cancel one line item with unused funds. The contract was performed in Bridgeport, Logan Township, New Jersey. As a BPA call order, this award represents a single transaction under a larger indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity agreement framework that allows NIEHS to procure laboratory equipment, scientific supplies, and related products on an as-needed basis without conducting full and open competition for individual orders.

VWR International LLC, headquartered in Wayne, Pennsylvania, is a leading federal contractor specializing in laboratory equipment, medical supplies, and scientific products. The company maintains an extensive portfolio serving multiple federal agencies, including the National Institutes of Health, with products ranging from microscopes and centrifuges to reagents and specialized laboratory instruments. This contract award carried no set-aside designation, indicating it was available for open competition. The invoice and payment provisions outlined in the award documentation establish standard requirements for vendor billing, including mandatory inclusions such as vendor identification numbers, DUNS numbers, order references, and itemized descriptions of supplies or services delivered.
