About this award

Olympus America, Inc. received a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) Call award from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), a component of the Department of Health and Human Services, with a ceiling value of $47,425.75 under a Firm Fixed Price contract type. The award was issued on February 22, 2012, with an ultimate completion date of January 31, 2013, and is located in Bethesda, Maryland. The award establishes detailed invoice and payment provisions requiring Olympus America to submit compliant invoices containing specified elements including vendor information, order references, itemized descriptions with quantities and pricing, shipping terms, payment routing instructions, and unique invoice identifiers. Based on Olympus America's historical federal contracting activity, this BPA Call likely involved medical and surgical instruments or equipment such as endoscopes, microscope systems, or related analytical equipment commonly supplied to federal health and research agencies. The firm fixed price structure and specific completion timeline indicate a defined scope of work with predetermined costs for the materials or services delivered under this particular BPA Call.
