About this opportunity

The City of Edinburg, Texas is requesting proposals for Veterans Boulevard Drainage Improvements Phase II, a stormwater relief project adding a new detention pond along Alberta Road and associated storm sewer infrastructure, with proposals due August 25, 2026 at 3:00 PM and a non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting on August 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM.

The scope includes mobilization, site clearing and grubbing across approximately 8.61 acres, sidewalk and asphalt removal and replacement, fence reinstallation, storm sewer pipe installation (24-inch and 42-inch reinforced concrete pipe totaling 1,260 linear feet), three grate inlets, six stormwater manholes, detention area excavation of 65,400 cubic yards, hydromulch application across 11,493 square yards, and swale construction spanning 2,264 linear feet. The contract utilizes EJCDC C-700 Standard General Conditions (2018) as modified by Supplementary Conditions and addenda numbers 1 and 2. Questions must be submitted by August 12, 2026 at 3:00 PM. Bidders must certify State of Texas licensure, submit noncollusion affidavits, debarment certifications, conflict of interest disclosures, and comply with certifications regarding Israel boycotts, energy company boycotts, and firearm entity discrimination under Texas legislation (HB 89, SB 13, SB 19).
