About this opportunity

The Georgia World Congress Center Authority (GWCCA) is requesting proposals for comprehensive audio-visual and production rigging services for its Atlanta-area facilities, with proposals due September 30, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. and a mandatory pre-proposal site visit and meeting on September 15, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. A restriction of communication is in effect: firms may not communicate with Authority staff, GWCC officials, or their consultants about this solicitation except through the formal question process, and finalists are prohibited from issuing public statements about their selection.

The scope encompasses general session production, breakout room support, trade show and exhibit hall services, digital displays and projection systems, sound and lighting systems, hybrid and virtual event production, video recording and streaming, production rigging, equipment and inventory management, and technical support across the GWCCA campus (Georgia World Congress Center, Centennial Olympic Park, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and Signia by Hilton Atlanta). The successful firm will serve as the preferred provider of audio-visual services for trade shows, fan festivals, conventions, and activations, and as the exclusive provider of production rigging services for exhibit hall floors and ballroom general sessions.

Respondents must demonstrate a minimum of five consecutive years of experience providing comparable audio-visual and production rigging services. The financial proposal must include a minimum commission to GWCCA of at least 32 percent of net revenue, and proposers are encouraged to offer higher percentages and minimum annual guarantees. The successful proposer must furnish and maintain a $500,000 annual performance bond or letter of credit, renewable for the initial term and any exercised renewal terms.

Evaluation weighs technical merits at 70 percent (experience, qualifications, operational excellence, technical capability, customer service, safety, and innovation) and financial proposal at 30 percent (commission structure and pricing competitiveness). Questions are due September 17, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., with clarifications due September 21, 2026. The contract term and renewal options will be determined through the evaluation and award process.
