About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers record from the Department of the Army regarding Request for Proposals DACA27-1-26-204, based on questions received during Anniston Army Depot Industry Days on May 4.

The Q&A addresses lease terms for a 97-acre parcel at Anniston Army Depot. Key details include: co-use agreements for railroad operations may be negotiated separately; the parcel is not located within explosive arc ranges; leases are subject to all applicable state and local taxes and laws; lessees must restore the land to original condition upon lease termination; lessees bear full responsibility for site preparation and site access costs, with the exception that ANAD will cut trees but leave stumps for lessee removal; rail spur upgrades supporting lease operations do not count as in-kind consideration, as consideration is based on land value; lessees are responsible for obtaining internet service through local providers and obtaining all required permits. The Army recommends that proposals strictly follow all requirements outlined in the RFP.
