TE-MMM
Annual Gas Leak Survey Requirements
1. Surveyed: All underground gas mains, service lines, valves and above ground service lines which include post side gas regulators and meters. (Excludes individual building service lines in the family housing areas.)
2. Testing Equipment: Identify detection equipment used during the survey. Identify when equipment calibration was performed, by whom and to what standard.
3. Leak Testing Procedures: All lines are to be walked or driven with appropriate leak detection equipment. All suspected leaks shall be further investigated / tested in the following manner: Above ground leaks shall be pinpointed with appropriate leak detection device and leak detection soap. Underground gas leaks shall be pinpointed using approved bore hole procedures and pot holing. (DMOs shall be called in and a leak report submitted for any leaks found.)
4. Area Survey / Dates: identify what was surveyed and when by month. Using map pages to identify areas is acceptable
5. Propane Tanks: Identify the building number, tank size and serial number of all propane tanks surveyed. Using map pages to identify areas is acceptable
6. Leaks: In a narrative format, Indicate the number of gas leaks responded to; how many were positive vs negative, the leaks discovered during the survey by location, how leaks were repaired, and any propane tank discrepancies.
