About this file
This document provides answers to questions from potential offerors regarding solicitation number N3220521R4170 for regular overhaul and dry docking of the USNS ZEUS. The Military Sealift Command seeks to clarify work item numbers and names in the solicitation. Item 399 is correctly listed as "Miscellaneous Motor Overhaul" rather than 304 as questioned. The information on page 23 is corrected to list work items 0301, 0302, 0399, rather than incorrectly listing item 301 four times. An attachment provides a work item index to further clarify requirements. Offerors should review the corrected information and attached index for understanding of the overhaul and dry docking services sought for the USNS ZEUS.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
The following are answers to questions received from potential offerors. The answers provide clarification only and do not constitute an amendment to the solicitation.
QUESTION: Specification Item No: Index and J-2
1. The J-3 lists item 399 Miscellaneous Motor Overhaul. I assume that should be 304. The solitation pages 23 and 24 shows item 301, 4 times. Additionally will you be issuing an index for the spec.
ANSWER:
The J-3 is correct. The correct number and work item name is 399 Miscellaneos Motor Overhaul
The information written in the solicitation on page 23 should read as the following and will be corrected in an amendment:
0301 SWITCHBOARD CLEANING A
0302 UNDERWATER THERMOGRAPHY SURVEY A
0303 THRUSTER SEALS A
0399 MISCELLANEOUS MOTOR OVERHAUL B
In addition, please see attached J-1 Work Item Index.
I did not see any typos on page 24 in the solicitation.
