Question 300:
In review of the AEPD Specification Appendix B Baseline Structural Inspections We found several Task Card Numbers that do not align to the P-8A Task Cards provided by the government. We understand that the first sequence of numbers such as 52-800 is the MPD reference and the last sequence of numbers is usually aircraft, model, or line number specific, we would like to submit that there could be differences in the task cards if the numbers are not aligned. Can NAVAIR provide direction on these cards.
Please see list of Task Card numbers mentioned in the AEPD Specification Rev A that differ from the Task Cards (A1-P8AAA-MTC-000) that were provided.

Answer 300:
The AEPD Attachment "A" Task Cards were developed separate from the MPD task card and were not included in the A1-P8AAA-MTC-000 task card deck. The Task Card series XXX-01-01 were developed as a general visual inspection tasks to be performed after the aircraft paint was removed and prior to paint. Task Cards series XXX-01-01 are provided. Contractors should use the AEPD Spec task card. These task cards will be provided to all contractors that have submitted the signed Boeing NDA and previously received task cards via CD/AMRDEC. If a contractor needs these updated task cards and has not received an update via AMRDEC please contact the contracting office.
Question 301:
Has a contractor performed similar work to this for the government in the past?
If available, please provide the incumbent contract number.
If you are unable to provide a contract number, is it safe to assume this is a new requirement for the government?
Answer 301:
The Government has awarded multiple contracts for similar, although not the same, work in the past.
Yes this is a new requirement for the Government.
