About this file
This solicitation requests proposals for a CERCLA removal action to remediate contaminated soil at a former waste dump site within Yosemite National Park, California. The selected contractor will implement a previously developed Non Time-Critical Removal Action work plan to remove approximately 15,000 tons of contaminated soil and debris, transport it for disposal, install five groundwater monitoring wells, perform the first year of monitoring, and prepare a Response Action Completion Report. Proposals are due by the date specified in the solicitation. The work will be performed under a single firm-fixed-price construction contract set aside for small businesses. The National Park Service will consider technical capability in comparison to price to select the best value offeror.

FORM 5: Relevant Experience READ CAREFULLY: The purpose of this form is for the offeror to list projects (preferably performed during the past five (5) years) that are similar to the work described in this solicitation and from whom the government may gather past performance information. Work performed as prime or subcontractor may be included. The number of projects listed shall not exceed ten (10) and shall be numbered consecutively, beginning with the most recent project. Use this form to address your familiarity with the Scope of Work and with the capability criteria described in the Request for Proposals.
It is especially important that the offeror disclose instances in which their past performance may be considered by others to be less than fully satisfactory. The offeror should tell their side of the story and describe remedial corrective action that has been taken or will be taken to correct the deficiency. Failure to do so may result in a determination that an offeror has been less than candid with the Government, which could result in an unfavorable assessment of the offeror’s past performance record.
