About this file
This solicitation requests proposals for a CERCLA removal action at Yosemite National Park, California. The contractor will implement a previously developed work plan to remove approximately 15,000 tons of contaminated soil and debris from a former waste dump site. The work includes soil sampling, analysis and reporting, installation of groundwater monitoring wells, and preparation of a completion report. The project is located near El Capitan in Yosemite Valley. A site visit will be held on July 12, 2023 and proposals are due approximately 30 days after posting of the solicitation.
This is a best value procurement set aside for small businesses. The prime contractor must comply with limitations on subcontracting. The NAICS code is 562910 for remediation and cleanup services. The contract will be a single firm-fixed-price construction contract subject to prevailing wage requirements. The estimated value is between $5-10 million. Proposals will be accepted electronically and evaluated based on technical capability and price. The National Park Service Pacific West Region is the contracting agency.
