Response Date:

27 Aug 2007 by 12:00 Noon (local time) Classification Code:

Contracting Office Address:

Department of the Air Force, Air Force Material Command, AFFTC- Air Force

Flight Test Center, AFFTC/PKEAD, 5 S. Wolfe Ave, Edwards AFB, CA 93524 Description:

1. The Government has reviewed all comments/questions received from firms interested in the MSTEC program. All inputs received to date have been taken into consideration and, as applicable, have been inserted into the updated SOW. In keeping open lines of communication with Industry, the updated SOW is posted to FedBizOpps today. We ask that interested sources thoroughly review the revised SOW.

2. Clarification is made that Freemont Valley is not a player in this acquisition at this time, as the Government is seeking a stand-alone Mode S test support system.

3. If your firm has added constructive comments/questions after review of the updated SOW, we strongly encourage your input. Your firm’s will assist the Government in issuing a thorough and comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP). This acquisition for the Air Force Flight Test Center is built around the technical requirements of the MSCA system.

4. We have extended response time for those interested sources to 12:00 noon (local time) on Monday, 27 Aug 2007. Industry inputs also continue to be sought on proposed delivery schedule (standard and accelerated delivery) and contract type for the MSCA.
