Flight Test Center, AFFTC/PKEAD, 5 S. Wolfe Ave, Edwards AFB, CA 93524 Description:

1. As an integral part of the MSTEC postings made on 17 Aug 2007, the Government has posted the Draft Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) on 20 Aug which will also be part of the RFP package that will be issued within ten working days. Interested firms are requested to provide input/comments on the Draft CDRLs (DD Form 1423-1). Constructive, frank comments are encouraged. The CDRLs should flow smoothly with the Draft SOW and line up with the SOW paragraphs referenced in Block 5 of the respective CDRLs. As we had stated in earlier MSTEC postings, Industry has strong technical expertise that will be factored in as a part of Government decision on this work effort.

2. Interested firms should provide the following input on the CDRLs as they relate to the MSTEC work efforts and Draft SOW: a) the relevance of the CDRLS to the required work efforts; the written contents of the CDRLs; those CDRLS which appear extraneous to the Mode S requirements; identification of any CDRLs not identified which your firm believes should be part of the CDRL package for Mode S. In all instances, please provide the rationale for your comments.

3. Your input to the postings made on 17 and 20 Aug will assist the Government in issuing a thorough and comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP). The information is requested no later than 24 Aug 2007. Industry is encouraged to e-mail or call the identified point of contact (POC) under this posting during the week of 20 Aug in ongoing discussions to bring all open items to closure NLT 24 Aug. As needed, informal working teleconferences will take place between your company and the Government program/technical team as coordinated through the POC.
