Amendment 01
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) No. 2 FA9101-22-R-B001, Test Operations and Sustainment (TOS) II
29 June 2022
The purpose of this amendment to RFI No. 2, FA9101-22-R-B-001, is to extend the RFI No. 2 response date to 6 July 2022 and to provide additional information for you to plan your trip and make the day(s) at AEDC as productive as possible for you at Industry Day #2. Registration for this Industry Day is extended to no later than 6 July 2022. Participants are limited to the following: four attendees per company at the Geographically Separated Units (GSUs) and six attendees per company for the Industry Day #2 event at Arnold AFB, with no more than two participating in the bus tours on 10 August 2022. Depending on the level of industry interest in the one-on-one discussions, Industry Day #2 may be extended through the morning of 11 August 2022. To finalize registration for this event, please complete the attached spreadsheet and return to aedc.sso@us.af.mil no later than 6 July 2022. The agenda will be finalized once registration closes.
Facility tours will be conducted at the GSUs listed below. Meeting locations will be provided upon registration for each GSU site visit. To coordinate visit requests for the GSU site visits, please contact the POC listed with each location below no later than 6 July 2022.

Arnold AFB will host Industry Day #2, which is planned to be an in-person event at the Arnold Lakeside Center (ALC), depending on local COVID-19 transmission levels. When you arrive at the security checkpoint, please let the guard know your company name and have photo IDs readily available from all attendees for the guard’s review. All attendees are required to be U.S.
citizens and signatures will be required during check-in attesting to U.S. citizenship.
While the Government will be presenting information during this Industry Day, we are requesting you to be an active participant and provide inputs or questions. We will be providing note cards that will be collected if you choose to submit a question anonymously. If time allows, these questions will be answered at the event, and ultimately all questions/answers will be posted on the TOS II Competition Library located at www.arnold.af.mil/Home/TOSII.
While participating in the tours at Arnold AFB, a USAF civilian will accompany each tour and be available to answer questions. If you have a reservation for the bus tour and have decided not to take the tour, please let us know in advance so that we may allow others to take your place. If you are going on the tour, avoid bringing large baggage. Smaller personal bags and purses are subject to search. Cameras and cell phones are prohibited on the tour. Open-toed shoes, sandals, and heels should not be worn. We also encourage you to wear attire that is both suitable for touring an industrial complex as well as anticipated summer-time temperatures.
We will have our functional experts available who can answer questions you may have concerning our Test and Sustainment mission areas. During the one-on-one sessions, we are not looking for briefings of capabilities or sales pitches but rather we want to hear from you on any issues/concerns/questions you may have regarding the TOS II requirements and source selection.
We would like to emphasize that Willis Towers Watson (pension actuary) will be presenting a briefing as well as participating during the one-on-one sessions.
Our point of contact is Ms. Montana Bieder. She can be reached by email through aedc.sso@us.af.mil.
