INFORMATIONAL ANNOUNCEMENT TO INDUSTRY
FA9101-13-R-0100, Test Operations and Sustainment (TOS) FA9101-14-R-0200, Facility Support Services (FSS)
FA9101-15-F-0001, Base Communications and Information Technology Services (BCITS)
7 October 2014
The purpose of this announcement is to confirm changes to requirements at Arnold Engineering Development Complex, Arnold AFB TN.
After a thorough review of the FSS Performance Work Statement (PWS), the areas of Occupational Health and Medicine (PWS sections 3.7 and 3.8) are being significantly changed from the draft PWS. This change impacts all of the Test Operations and Support acquisitions.
The requirement for the FSS contractor to provide Occupational Health services for all AEDC personnel is being changed to providing these services strictly for the AEDC government workforce. Any of the contractors who receive awards under the Test Operations and Support acquisitions will be responsible for ensuring that Occupational Health requirements are met for their own employees.
Additionally, the requirement for the FSS contractor to provide a medical clinic for all AEDC contractor employees to treat occupational related and other injuries, as well as providing for sick call related services, has been removed. The requirement to provide for a medical clinic in any of the Test Operations and Support acquisition efforts has been removed. However, removal of this requirement does not limit how the contractors provide this service for their employees.
