PURCHASE DESCRIPTION (PD)
Advanced Radar/Electronic Warfare Test Station (ARTS)
The Revision C to the PD serves to incorporate changed pages:
And to add page 43A, continuation page.
Programmable voltage with over-voltage protection output through full range to its maximum limit.
Programmable current limit with over-current protection.
Front panel indication of output status for normal operation or fault occurrence.
Provide the amount of current draw via software to the test executive described in paragraph 3.2.6.2.
The ARTS shall provide, at a minimum, the AC power stimuli as described in Table 3-2 below. Table 3-2 provides the minimum performance parameters of the AC power stimuli that are required for power input to the LRUs listed in Table 2-1. Note that only one LRU will be tested at a time on ARTS. All specified parameters shall be verified at the ICA.
Parameter Requirement
AC1 Voltage (programmable) 0 to 230 Vrms Programmable Resolution 1 Vrms Voltage Accuracy ± 2.5 % of output voltage Frequency (programmable) 60 Hz to 400 Hz Programmable Resolution 1 Hz Frequency Accuracy ± 5 % Number of Phases 3-phase : ØA, ØB, ØC Programmable Phase
Resolution
1.0 degree
Programmable Phase Accuracy 1% per 100 Hz Max Current 10 A per phase Output Power 6900 VA
AC2 Voltage (programmable) 0 to 100 Vrms Programmable Resolution 1 Vrms Voltage Accuracy ± 5 % of output voltage Frequency (programmable) 60 Hz to 400 Hz Programmable Resolution 1 Hz Frequency Accuracy ± 5 % Number of Phases 3-phase : ØA, ØB, ØC Programmable Phase

2.4 GHz processor (min)
B RAM (min) 80 GB Hard Disk Drive (min) – Each ARTS shall contain two (2) removable
HDDs; one for classified and one for non-classified material Display pointer control –mouse, trackball, or other device (PS/2 or USB) Keyboard – Standard 101/102 Key (min) (PS/2 or USB) Monitor – 19”, 256-color, 1152x864 resolution (min) Printer – 8 ppm (min) (USB or parallel) Ethernet Interface – data rate 100/1000 Mbps (min) Speakers – standard 2-speaker system CD/DVD-ROM – qty of one (1) Peripheral Interface Devices – Sufficient type and quantity of peripheral interface devices to support data/control bus with ATE instruments (ex: PCI-based IEEE-
488 CCA)
Video Graphics CCA – integrated (on motherboard) or auxiliary (i.e. PCIe, PCI, AGP, etc.) to support graphic requirements of ARTS.
USB Interface – min of 4 extra or vacant (not already used) USB ports
The main operator interface shall be the PC keyboard, display monitor, pointer control (mouse, trackball, etc.) and printer. This interface shall provide the operator interface for the normal on-station activities such as TPS integration, debug, test and UUT testing actions. This interface shall also provide the operator interface for ATE maintenance activities such as confidence testing, self-test, and calibration.
This operator terminal/interface shall be packaged in a mobile crate or on a mobile work stand to facilitate movement to different locations around the station. This mobility requirement is for operator convenience in performing manual intervention actions and troubleshooting during TPS integration and UUT testing.
3.3.2 Input Power Requirements. The primary power for the ARTS shall accommodate both 120/208 VAC ± 10% with 70 amperes per phase, and 277/480 VAC ± 10% with 56 amperes per phase, at 50/60 Hz ± 5%, 3-phase, 4-wire, wye-connected, with a separate safety ground. It shall be consistent with the requirements listed in MIL- PRF-28800F and MIL-STD-1332B, and subject to the examination and test methods noted therein, as specified in section 4.3.2. It shall be equipped with a master power ON/OFF switch and indicator, an emergency power shut down switch (located on the front panel) and an elapsed time indicator. It shall also contain a power-monitoring device to analyze input power parameters and provide operator notification if an out of tolerance condition is detected. Automatic and operator initiated shutdown shall provide an orderly, sequential system shutdown to preclude ATE or UUT damage and shall not degrade the ATE hardware or software. All facility power inputs and internal power supplies shall be equipped with circuit breakers to minimize damage to ATE assets and UUTs.
The ARTS shall provide six 115 VAC, 15A convenience receptacles located on the front of the station to provide power for general purpose electrical equipment.
