About this file

This document is a Contract Data Requirements List (DD Form 1423-1) that outlines the requirements for a Technical Manual Contract Requirement (TMCR) as part of a federal contract for the AN/ALE-47 Countermeasures Dispenser System (CMDS) Hardware Procurement. The TMCR is required under the Statement of Work paragraph 2.8.6 and must be delivered per the requirements in the TM-86-01N technical manual. The TMCR must be approved by the 406 SCMS/GUEE office and delivered 60 days prior to production hardware delivery to the USAF. Distribution and approval instructions are provided. No pricing information is included.

The related federal contract opportunity is for the procurement of the AN/ALE-47 CMDS, which is an integrated, threat-adaptive, reprogrammable, computer-controlled airborne defensive system that dispenses countermeasure decoys. This is a pre-solicitation notice indicating the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC)/WNKD anticipates issuing a solicitation with a 12-month base period and four 12-month ordering periods. Contractors must qualify any unqualified Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) during a 36-month qualification period before production can begin. The acquisition will use tradeoff source selection procedures to award on best value. The solicitation is anticipated to be released around 9 April 2024 with award around June 2025. Foreign companies are not permitted to participate.
