About this file

This document is a Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) that lists the data items, including test procedures and other deliverables, required for the AN/ALE-47 Countermeasures Dispenser System (CMDS) hardware procurement effort.

The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation notice for the procurement of CMDS Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and Shop Replaceable Units (SRUs). The Air Force and Army will utilize a two-level maintenance concept, while the Navy will use a three-level concept. The procurement will be issued for a 12-month basic period with four 12-month option periods, using a Firm-Fixed Price pricing arrangement. Contractors with unqualified LRUs must meet pre-production requirements, including developing test procedures, performing environmental stress screening, and obtaining government approval, prior to award of production orders. The solicitation is anticipated to be released on or around April 9, 2024, with award on or around June 2025. The acquisition will utilize tradeoff source selection procedures to determine best value. Foreign companies are not permitted to participate.
