CLARIFICATION – RFP FA8501-11-R-0002

The following clarification is provided:

Your attention is called to Clause 52.228-15 (“Performance and Payment Bonds – Construction (Oct 2010), Para.(b), which reads “Amount of required bonds. Unless the resulting contract price is $150,000 or less, the successful offeror shall furnish performance and payment bonds to the Contracting Officer…” The value of the Contract(s) awarded for the acquisition will not be $150,000.00 or less. The estimated value of the basic contract(s) is considered the overall value of the basic contract.

The Government reserves the right to require payment and performance bonds, each equal to 100% of the task order value, for any or all orders.
