MARKET RESEARCH
GEODSS – SOLICITATION No: FA2517-13-R-8001 RFI #5 – Small Business Capability
In accordance with FAR 52.215-3, Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes, this is a request for information and not a request for proposals.
The following questions are for market research purposes only to assist the United States Air Force (USAF) in development of the acquisition strategy for the new contract. Your responses will not be shared with anyone outside the USAF.
In an effort to determine the capability of small businesses to fulfill the requirements of the GEODSS PWS under NAICS 517919 ($30M size standard), please provide answers to the following questions.
1. Please use the below or similar matrix (on page 2) to identify your capability to meet all areas of the PWS. Also, please indentify what areas of the PWS you will utilize teaming partners and/or subcontractors to accomplish.
2. What are your capabilities to manage a CBA?
3. What are your capabilities to manage the three GEODSS Geographically Separated Units (GSUs)?
4. What do you see as the risk areas for this acquisition and how would you mitigate these risks?
5. In terms of dollar value, what is the largest prime contract you have held? What is the largest subcontract you have held?
6. What is your experience managing subcontracts?
7. What is your available line of credit?
8. What is your capability to obtain a facility clearance?
9. What is your capability to accomplish a contract transition?
