About this file
This file is a data flow diagram depicting the Reserve Component Dental Readiness Classification (DRC) system interactions. The diagram illustrates how DenClass, the main dental classification system, interfaces with multiple other systems including ASC-DAL, MIP, MWDE, MEDPROS Web Reporting, and ADDR.
The workflow shows that when DenClass users submit or approve Soldier Dental Readiness Classification updates, the ASC-DAL Web Service is called. Dental updates flow through MIP to MWDE for both Active Duty and Reserve Soldiers in real-time. RHRP-4 Vendor submits dental treatment plans and radiographs to DenClass via Web Services for approvals and processing. Radiographs uploaded in DenClass are transmitted to ADDR every 5 minutes. The system manages DRC 1 and DRC 2 population for all ARNG and USAR service members, with automatic updates to DRC 4 status if DRC 1 or 2 classifications expire on the first day of the 16th month. MEDPROS Web Reporting receives DRC data updates once per day in the evening.
