About this file
This is Amendment No. 9 to DEP Agency Term Contract No. GC868, an indefinite delivery vehicle between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and HLM Environmental Remediation, Inc. The contract covers petroleum contamination site response action services in Florida's South Region. The amendment was executed on May 28, 2020, by James P. Bowen (President of HLM Environmental Remediation, Inc.) and John Truitt (Deputy Secretary of FDEP), with processing completed on June 19, 2020.
Amendment No. 9 implements a rate increase on the contract's rate schedule (Attachment D), increasing prices from version V3.1 to V3.2 effective June 19, 2020, for all new work assignments offered on or after the Rate Change Date. The amendment increases rates across 207 pay items spanning multiple service categories including mobilization, drilling and boring, well installation, sample collection, laboratory analysis, soil source removal, remediation construction, pilot testing, system operation and maintenance, reports, and professional services. Rate increases range from approximately 3.97% to 5.00%, with the majority of items receiving increases of 4.98%. Pre-Rate Change Date work and previously offered work assignments retain the prior V3.1 rates. All other contract terms and conditions remain in effect, with this amendment only modifying the rate schedule and not adding, deleting, or otherwise altering line items.
