About this file
This is Amendment No. 10 to DEP Agency Term Contract No. GC868, executed between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and HLM Environmental Remediation, Inc. The contract, originally executed on February 27, 2014, provides petroleum contamination site response action services in the South Region of Florida. This amendment, dated June 4, 2021, modifies the contractor's rate schedule effective for new work assignments offered on or after the Rate Change Date of 6/4/2021.
Amendment No. 10 implements rate increases across 273 pay items in the contract's rate schedule (Attachment D, Version 3.3), with increases ranging from approximately 3.36% to 5.00%, all within the maximum 5% threshold permitted under contract provision 11.B.ii. The rate increases apply exclusively to new work assignments issued on or after the effective date, while all pre-Rate Change Date work assignments continue to apply the previous rate schedule (Version 3.2). Services covered include drilling and boring, well installation and abandonment, sample collection and laboratory analysis, soil source removal, remedial action construction, system operations and maintenance, professional engineering and geology services, and associated reporting. The contractor submitted detailed justification for the requested increases, which the Department reviewed and approved. No new line items were added, deleted, or modified; only the pricing for existing services was adjusted in this amendment.
