Re: Request for Clarifications Solicitation BPM002972 Tower Services-Maintenance
Dear Mr. Feather:
Pursuant to A.R.S. 41-2534, A.A.C. R2-7-C313, Clarification of Offers, the following is being submitted to your Firm as a respondent to the above solicitation with the intent to gain a greater understanding of the offer as submitted. This request for clarification shall not be considered as a determination that the Offeror is susceptible for award. No material changes to the offer shall be permitted through this clarification process. The following questions are presented for consideration and clarification:
1. Per the Experience and Capacity Questionnaire Question # 5: If providing maintenance and repair services, please describe your company’s ability and experience (Scope 3.4) Provide in detail: experience in the Telecommunications industry, the jobs that your company has completed in the last 1-3 years that are similar to the Scope items listed in 3.4, details of the preventative maintenance tower requirement your company has performed, the size of your company, current capacity and ability to perform concurrent multiple jobs. (Scope 3.4) Please clarify: Provide details of the types of maintenance services NB provides. NB provides simple grounds maintenance, weeds, light bulbs, graffiti, etc. We maintain electrical and battery systems. We have tower crews that preform tower painting, reattach loose lines, handle corrosion issues, loose or missing bolts, etc. We have road crews that repair, recut, pave and maintain site access roads. We have fence crew that does nothing but repairs and installs fencing. We have certified mechanic that repairs and replaces generators and preforms PM service on them.
2. Per Attachment 4 Pricing Document please clarify and confirm the Emergency hrly fee for Maintenance. It was my understanding from the previous request for clarification dated 11/5/20 on pricing that we were to have one price that covered all work, an average so to speak. So in the response to that we agreed on $95.00 per hour for all services.
If your Firm chooses not to respond to the request for clarifications, your proposal submittal shall remain as is and remain unchanged. To respond to this request, please send via e-mail to my attention. The due date for your submittal is December 3rd by EOD Arizona Time.
Sincerely, Melanie Guyette Deputy Chief Procurement Officer Department of Public Safety mguyette@azdps.gov image1.png
