About this file

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by the Arizona Department of Economic Security (ADES), specifically through its Rehabilitation Services Administration's Business Enterprise Program (BEP), seeking qualified vendors for vending equipment and related services. The solicitation is formally designated as Solicitation No. BPM006108 and will be submitted and managed through the Arizona Procurement Portal (https://app.az.gov), with a proposal due date of April 3, 2025.

The contract seeks vendors to provide vending equipment and associated services for BEP, which supports legally blind individuals in managing merchandising businesses and vending operations throughout Arizona. The scope includes purchasing vending machines across multiple categories (such as cold beverage, hot beverage, snack, food, and payment systems), installation, training, repair, maintenance, and moving/relocation services. The contract allows for multiple awards to suppliers, operates on an as-needed basis with no guaranteed purchase volume, and will cover facilities ranging from small snack bars to large cafeterias and high-security prisons, primarily in Maricopa and Pima counties but with potential expansion to other Arizona counties. Pricing will be based on a percentage discount off published list prices, with hourly rates for installation, training, and service, and the contract term is initially one year with potential extensions up to five years.
