BAA 10-RD-01 CALL 0012 THERMAL SSA
1. Question: In reviewing the requirements for CDRLs A002 & A003 provided for the referenced BAA/Call, they seem to have a large degree of overlap/redundancy. Apart from some minor details regarding the first submission, both appear to require programmatic status (e.g., technical and cost performance information) on a quarterly basis. Unless one of you can draw a clearer distinction between the two, it seems to me that these two are asking for the same information packaged in two different Microsoft Office formats (i.e., PowerPoint for A002 and Word for A003). This strikes me as an unnecessary burden on my time and hence program cost. In particular, I'm leaning toward consolidating the requirements of A002 & A003 into a single monthly status report.
Answer: CDRL A002 Presentation Material and CDRL A003 Status Report were determined to be Government requirements during acquisition planning for CALL 0012. Although similar information may be provided, the documents meet different requirements of AFRL. Offerors are instructed to submit a proposal in accordance with the requirements stated in the CALL Solicitation to include the CDRLs. The Government will then evaluate proposals in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the CALL Solicitation.
