About this file
This document is a Bid Schedule for a Job Order Contract for General Construction (JOC 2601, 2602, 2603, 2604 and 2605) covering construction work across multiple facility types. The bid allows contractors to propose Adjustment Factors for work performed in General Facilities, Detention Facilities, and OSHPD (Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development) Facilities, with separate pricing for normal working hours and other than normal working hours.
The Adjustment Factor submitted by bidders will be used to multiply the Unit Price sum specified in the Construction Task Catalog, with the low bidder determined by calculating the Award Criteria Figure to four decimal places. Strict bidding rules are in place, including requirements that "Other than Normal Working Hours" Adjustment Factors must be equal to or greater than Normal Working Hours factors, and Detention and OSHPD Facility Adjustment Factors must be equal to or greater than General Facilities Adjustment Factors. The bid distinguishes between work performed in different facility types, with specific Adjustment Factors applying to secured areas, hospitals, in-patient medical facilities, and other locations.
