The addendum provides clarifications and responses to six contractor questions regarding the project, including rental equipment requirements, temporary chiller hookups, commissioning, safety equipment, roofing details, and water treatment vendors. The bid opening date remains Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM, and Revision 1 Drawings dated May 16, 2025, by Atkins Realis are to be included with this addendum.
The addendum specifies technical details such as the rental packaged air-cooled chiller requiring 50 nominal tons of cooling, 120 gpm of chilled water at 40 ft head, and 208/3 electrical configuration. It notes that the building has modified bitumen roofing with metal substructure and insulation, and there is no current manufacturer's warranty. The County has a service contract with Trane, U.S., Inc., which has subcontracted water treatment services to Premier Water and Energy Technology. The addendum also includes revisions to various drawings, such as adding temporary chiller connections, clarifying back-draft damper placement, and updating electrical circuit specifications for the Cosatron Series 1000 odor control unit.
