About this file
This is a DD Form 1423-1, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), which is a template and instruction document used to specify data deliverables required from contractors during federal contract performance. The form is not tied to a specific contract opportunity but rather serves as a standardized tool for government personnel to define, document, and manage contractor data submissions.
The document outlines the structure and completion requirements for identifying a single data item, including fields for contract line item number, system/item name, data item number, title, authority references, contract references, requiring office, submission frequency, and distribution requirements. The example provided specifies a Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) Compliance Report (data item SE015) requiring delivery as a Microsoft Word document in Arial font, size 12, addressing DISA compliance requirements. Submission requirements include a draft due within 10 business days of task completion and a final version within three business days of receiving government comments. Distribution includes one copy each to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), Technical Monitor (TM), and Government Project Lead. The instructions for contractors address pricing methodology, categorizing data items into four groups (Group I through Group IV) based on whether the data is essential to contract performance and the level of additional work required to meet government specifications, with Group IV items typically submitted at no cost.
