About this file
This document is a Certification Regarding Lobbying that is required to be submitted as part of the procurement for a state and local contract opportunity to provide a technology solution for workforce services in the Commonwealth of Virginia, including Henrico County and Roanoke City. The contract requires the selected vendor to provide a technology platform for offering and managing workforce services, project management for implementation, and ongoing maintenance and support. The certification prohibits the use of federal funds for lobbying activities and requires disclosure of any other funds used for lobbying related to this contract. Submission of this certification is a prerequisite for entering into the contract, and failure to file the required certification can result in civil penalties.
The contract opportunity does not provide specifics on pricing terms, set asides, incumbent vendors, funding requirements or sources, or other financial details. However, it does indicate that the contract will be awarded at the state level in Virginia, with jurisdictions of Henrico County and Roanoke City participating.
