About this file

This document is an Addendum to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for the Central Florida Rail Corridor (CFRC) Track Improvements - Multiple Locations contract. The addendum modifies the Scope of Services in the original RFP, requiring the vendor to install a total of eight (8) new insulated joints, four (4) on Mainline No 1 and four (4) on Mainline No 2, at locations specified by the CFRC Signal Team. The RFP is for CFRC Track Improvements at multiple locations, with a mandatory pre-proposal meeting scheduled for September 4, 2024, and technical and price proposals due by October 2, 2024, at 10:00 AM. The procurement is being conducted by FDOT District Five, and the contract will be awarded to the successful bidder.

The solicitation documents note that the procurement is subject to the 1% MyFloridaMarketplace Transaction Fee, and all bidders must be registered in the state's vendor system. The contract is also subject to federal nondiscrimination statutes and authorities, including Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. No other pricing, set-aside, or funding information is provided in the document.
