About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) template document from the New York State Office of General Services Procurement Services Group for Award 22802, an IT Umbrella Contracts program using manufacturer-based contracting. The document serves as a standardized form that Authorized Users within New York governmental entities can utilize to gauge contractor interest and capabilities before issuing formal Request for Quotations (RFQs). The form is designed to be sent to all awarded Contractors and Resellers under Solicitation 22802 for applicable lots, with contractor responses determining which vendors will receive subsequent RFQ communications.
The contract vehicle encompasses four distinct lots: Lot 1 Software, Lot 2 Hardware, Lot 3 Cloud services, and Lot 4 Implementation Services for products sold under the first three lots. The RFI process allows Authorized Users to assess contractor availability and interest before proceeding with formal procurement activities, with only contractors who respond affirmatively to the RFI receiving future RFQ opportunities. The document includes fields for project descriptions, work locations, authorized user contact information, and requires disclosure of whether Procurement Lobbying Law restrictions are in effect. Contractor responses are limited to awarded vendors and resellers under the existing Solicitation 22802 framework, with required confirmation of participation interest and contact details.
