REPLY NEEDED BY:
1. Spec section 02 83 33.13, 1.1A indicates to remove lead-based paint as indicated on existing conditions report. Can this report be furnished?
2. AD104.1 & 2-During site visit it was noted that several areas of exterior walls have peeling paint. Will all paint need to be removed from walls to remain in these rooms since the substrate and paint is no longer bonded in various areas?
3. AD104.1 & 2-In rooms that paint does not appear as peeling will paint need to be removed from walls to remain?
REPLY:
1. The specification section was in error. A report such as this has not been performed.
2. Most of the walls are being covered with new framing and drywall. In some locations, the existing wall will be visible. Where this will be exposed to view, prep and paint per specification 09 91 00.
