About this file
This document is an Addendum #2 to a Competitive Solicitation issued by Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) in Tampa, Florida, for a Device as a Service (DaaS) procurement, numbered 25006-RFP-DST. The addendum addresses vendor questions regarding device specifications, specifically focusing on student laptop requirements. Key details include clarification on device screen sizes, with the district indicating a preference for and maximum screen size of 13 inches, while also accepting 11.6" or 12.2" touchscreen devices. The document confirms that HCPS will request device demonstrations only for unknown devices from a selected short list.
The addendum provides specific technical specifications for student devices, including acceptance of configurations with 2 USB-C and 1 USB-A ports. Vendors are instructed to consider this addendum when preparing and submitting their proposal, and must acknowledge receipt of the addendum on the form provided in the original competitive solicitation. The document is signed by Erika James, Senior Procurement Officer, and will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. The solicitation appears to be part of a technology refresh or upgrade initiative for the school district's computing infrastructure.
