About this file

This document is Addendum #2 to Competitive Solicitation No. 25006-RFP-DST for the Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) Device as a Service (DaaS) procurement. The addendum addresses clarifying questions about device specifications for student laptops, specifically confirming that the preferred and maximum screen size is 13 inches. HCPS will request device demos only from a selected short list if the device is unknown, and they have confirmed acceptance of 11.6" or 12.2" touchscreen devices with specific port configurations.

The addendum provides detailed responses to vendor inquiries about device options, including confirmation that HCPS will not accept alternative screen sizes beyond the 13-inch maximum for student devices. The document indicates that the procurement is part of a four-year device refresh cycle aimed at establishing stable computing device costs for students and employees, with an emphasis on comprehensive device life cycle management including configuration, deployment, asset management, support, and disposal. The addendum is governed by Florida state laws and requires bidders to acknowledge receipt of the document with their proposal submission.

1. Will HCPS require demos/samples of the devices with the RFP submission?

2. With regards to Student Laptops and General Laptops, can the vendor provide an 11.6-inch screen, 12.2-inch screen or 14-inch screen as an alternative to a 13-inch screen?

1. HCPS will request a demo if it is an unknown device and only from the selected short list. 2. No.
