Custom pipeline views

Create shared views for capture reviews, team follow-up, and upcoming deadlines. Try filters, save useful defaults, and share a view with your team.

Open Pipelines and choose a pipeline. Its view tabs appear above the pursuits. Create a custom view when you want a repeatable way to review a team's work, a set of opportunities, or upcoming deadlines.

Each view uses the same pipeline's active pursuits. Creating a view does not copy or move them. Custom views are shared with teammates who have access to the pipeline, and those teammates can update the views too.

Choose a layout

LayoutUse it to
BoardReview pursuits in stage columns and move work through your capture process.
TasksReview incomplete tasks attached to the pursuits that match the view.
CalendarSee matching pursuits on their due dates in a monthly calendar.

In Tasks, My tasks and Everyone control whose tasks you see. The view's pursuit filters still apply. Calendar shows pursuit due dates; pursuits without a due date do not appear on the calendar.

The built-in All pursuits, My pursuits, and Tasks tabs remain available. My pursuits shows pursuits owned by the person using the pipeline.

Create a custom view

Choose what you want to see. Use Filter to narrow the pipeline. You can also enter text in Search pipeline and press Enter. On a Board, choose stage sorting if you want a particular card order.

Click New view. Enter a short, recognizable name, such as “Weekly capture review,” and choose Board, Tasks, or Calendar.

Click Create view. The new tab saves your current pursuit filters, search text, layout, and stage sorting. Open that tab whenever you want to return to this setup.

You can also open a built-in tab's menu and choose Save as custom view.

Try changes, then save defaults

You can try different pursuit filters, search text, or stage sorting in a custom view without changing the team's saved setup. The results update as you work.

When you want everyone to start with those settings, open Filter, scroll to the bottom, and click Save as Default. This button appears when the custom view has changes to save. Your saved settings apply whenever someone opens that view.

Reset all returns to the view's saved filters, search text, and stage sorting. Saved filters can remain in place after a reset. Switching to another view or reloading the page also returns you to saved settings.

These temporary settings affect how you review the pipeline. Editing a pursuit, moving a card, or completing a task saves that change to the underlying work as usual.

To keep a different setup alongside the original, create a new view instead of saving over the original view's defaults.

Share and manage views

Click the selected view tab again to open its menu.

  • Copy link to view gives you a link to the saved view. Share it with teammates who already have access to the pipeline. Temporary filter changes are not included in the link.
  • Edit filters opens the filter menu. Use Save as Default when you want to keep the changes for everyone.
  • Rename or change layout updates the view's name or switches between Board, Tasks, and Calendar while keeping its saved filters and sorting.
  • Duplicate view creates a separate copy of the saved view. Save any temporary changes first if you want those included in the copy.
  • Delete view removes the shared view after confirmation. Its pursuits stay in the pipeline.

Drag custom view tabs left or right to change their shared order. You can also focus a custom tab and use Alt with the left or right arrow key. The built-in tabs stay at the beginning.

  • Pipelines: Organize pursuits into stages and manage pipeline access.
  • Pursuits: Review and update the opportunities your team is tracking.
  • Tasks: Assign and manage follow-up work.
