The contract is subject to the City of Boston's living wage and prevailing wage ordinances, CORI compliance requirements, and wage theft prevention certifications—all mandatory compliance gates.
The scope includes furnishing and delivery of stitched letter pop tote/crash-bottom boxes in brown kraft (32 ECT minimum, 50-lb load requirement) at quantities of up to 10,000 boxes annually, 20 rolls of 500 labels per roll, and design printing services. Three scheduled deliveries per year are required in January, March, and May, with delivery to Campbell Resource Center, 1216 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, Massachusetts.
The contract term is three years, from December 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029, with no renewal options. The estimated annual spending is approximately $50,000 per year, totaling $150,000 over the contract period; Boston Public Schools reserves the right to use any portion of this amount based on actual operational needs and is not obligated to purchase the full contract value. Award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest total price for the entire three-year contract.
Bidders must comply with all City of Boston Standard Contract General Conditions, including workers' compensation insurance, commercial general liability, automobile liability, umbrella liability, technology errors and omissions, third-party crime, and professional services coverage. All awarded contractors must complete Form CM-16 (Wage Theft Prevention Certification), obtain CORI clearance for workers, comply with prevailing wage and living wage ordinances ($19.36 per hour minimum effective July 1, 2026, subject to annual adjustment for covered vendors), complete the Vendor Agreement (Form WAGE-2), and submit required corporate authorization and debarment certifications.
