About this opportunity
This solicitation seeks proposals to provide three engine work platforms specifically designed for vertical TF33 engines. The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center intends to award a firm fixed price contract to support maintenance at locations within Building 9001 at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. The platforms must meet technical requirements for dimensions, safety features, engine access, and integration with existing hoists as outlined in the Statement of Work and Technical Evaluation Criteria. Evaluation will be based on the platforms' compliance with requirements. The closing date for proposals is February 15, 2023.
The acquisition is set aside for small businesses with fewer than 100 employees. The platforms will support maintenance of TF33 aircraft engines. Each platform must accommodate heights from 2 to 13 feet and support up to five workers and 3,000 pounds of equipment. The contractor will deliver, install, test, and train personnel on the completed work cells by September 30, 2023 at Tinker Air Force Base. The primary NAICS is 333912 and PSC is J067. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment to fabricate and install the three work platforms at the specified locations.

AMENDMENT 2: The due date for quotes has been extended to 15 Feb 2023. As a result of the Site Visit, the SOW and Technical Evaluation Criteria were revised and several attachments were added. PLEASE REVIEW EACH ATTACHMENT. These documents/photos contain information essential for a design/quote IAW the terms and conditions of the CSS.
*Any quotes that have already been submitted should be revised to include the updated information.
AMENDMENT 1: The due date for quotes has been extended to 8 Feb 2023 due to offering the opportunity for a Site Visit. An amended Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (CSS) has been uploaded. Site visit information is highlighted in yellow in the CSS.
SITE VISIT
A Site Visit/Walk-through is scheduled for 25 Jan 2023 at 0930 CT. All parties are requested to meet at the Tinker AFB Visitor Center, at 0900 CT to gain entry on the base. It is anticipated the Site Visit/Walk-through may take a few hours to a half a day. The Site Visit/Walk-through is not mandatory; however, all are encouraged to attend. This will be the only opportunity made available to physically view an existing TF33 Work Platform. The maximum number of attendees representing a prime contractor (to include any potential subcontractors) is THREE (3). A list of attendees shall be provided by a prime contractor to the Contracting Officers Jennifer Azbill at jennifer.azbill@us.af.mil and Elizabeth Fanning at elizabeth.fanning@us.af.mil no later than 1200 CT, 24 Jan 2023. For each attendee, identify the prime or subcontractor represented; any individual not on the attendance list will be asked to leave. Information needed:
