About this file
This document contains questions and answers from a site visit related to a solicitation for three engine work platforms for TF33 engines. The platforms must have five duplex 110V receptacles each, with three on the back wall and one each on the two side walls near the front opening. Structural dimensions and hoist locations for three areas (Y47, BB47, and Y29) are provided in attachments. Additional vertical lighting is required on the back wall and sides near the front opening. Desired stop heights are specified as Level 1 through Level 4 in the solicitation. Controls should use momentary not constant functions for safety. Area Y29 can be used as a laydown space. The max floor load is 600 pounds per square foot and platforms must travel from 2 to 13 feet in height. Photos of automated lift locks are provided in attachments. The government will remove existing equipment and utilities, and a fifth level is not required.
