c. Government Verification. All QA operations, installation changes, and inspections performed by the installer are subject to Government verification at unannounced and varying intervals. Verification will consist of observations and inspections to confirm that practices, methods, and procedures of the installer’s written inspection plan are being properly applied and that Government production inspection to confirm the quality of product offered for Government acceptance does not deviate from prescribed acceptance standards specified. Deviations will be brought to the attention of the installer for correction.
d. In-process Inspection. During normal assembly operations, paragraph 10, Modification Procedures, will be used to check the installer’s work. All vehicles modified during a production shift will be checked to ensure product quality after installation is complete.
