RE: Experience & Capacity: Disaster Plan Dear State of Arizona, Senergy Petroleum prides itself on its ability to navigate unforeseen circumstances and continue its mission to provide quality products and services. Our experienced staff operate under our standard operating procedures, always adhering to safety protocols. Our trucks are maintained at the highest level of scrutiny to ensure a safe and timely delivery for both our employees and our customers. Senergy Petroleum has operated without interrupted service during time of need, providing products and services in a timely, efficient, and safe manner.
Senergy is fully prepared to continue servicing the State of Arizona. While we take many precautions and preventative measures, safety is the #1 priority. While our trucks are maintained at a very high level of maintenance, we want to assure you that each load out is inspected individually. Pre- and post- trip inspections are completed prior to every dispatch. Should it become deemed that other equipment is needed to ensure employee compliance and safety, that equipment is provided to him/her in a timely fashion prior to the dispatch of the truck.
It is important to note our trucks are properly outfitted, and our drivers highly experienced, for operating in various terrains and conditions, as appropriate for delivery destination: i.e. this is to include mountainous terrain, dirt roads, rain, snow, dust storms, and excessive temperatures. Our drivers are provided appropriate PPE and identifying markers, such as orange vests and specialized gloves (when required) when delivering lubricant loads. Within our cabs, our drivers will always have heating/AC, emergency roadside kits, hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, drinking water and a fire extinguisher.
As for specific disaster plans applicable to the State of Arizona, if a delivery is scheduled to an area known for snow or muddy roads, we will ensure the truck has tire chains, & the driver is dressed appropriately for outside conditions. Should road conditions become suddenly inaccessible for any reason (such as snow, ice, flooding), the driver will work with the dispatch team for assistance and alternate route planning to avoid or minimize possible delay in delivery; this will be communicated with ADOT/public agency/COOP member staff by the appropriate internal team member. In the event of a dust storm, the driver will communicate to our dispatch team, and safely pull to the side of the road until visibility is regained and the driver can continue.
During declared States of Emergency, our employees follow all standards set forth by the appropriate governing body such as local, state, and federal standards; for example, during the COVID-19, pandemic, drivers and employees followed hand-sanitizing, social distancing, face covering protocols to keep themselves and others safe.
