4. Cyber Awareness. This training is required for all employees with access to DLA network and Government-Furnished Data Systems. This training is available via a web-based, self-taught course. This 40-minute course is part of the vital effort to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and non-repudiation of DLA information and data. An employee failure to complete this training may result in loss of his/her access to the DLA IT systems.

DLA has a very important mission to support the war fighter and we have a lot of critical information that our adversaries can use to disrupt those operations. Terrorists, other governments, and even private organizations are a threat to us. Every day, they are attempting to collect our government’s secure critical information in order to have an advantage over us.

9. PII-Personally Identifiable Information. The course is designed to prepare personnel to recognize the importance of PII, to identify what PII is, and why it is important to protect PII.
