About this file
This document is a Question & Answer Solicitation Amendment 5 from the Washington State Lottery for RFQQ246 Print Services. The amendment addresses a specific vendor inquiry about providing work samples, with the Lottery emphasizing the need for an unbiased evaluation process by explicitly instructing vendors not to submit previous work samples to avoid potential bias or disqualification. The document serves as a standalone communication that does not require changes to the original solicitation and provides contact information for the Procurement Coordinator, Jenna Johnson, for any additional questions.
The key focus of this document is procedural clarity in the procurement process, specifically highlighting the Lottery's commitment to maintaining an objective evaluation. While the amendment does not provide detailed contract specifics, it reinforces the formal procurement protocols by clearly communicating expectations to potential bidders and ensuring a fair, transparent selection process for the print services contract.

Washington State Lottery
Question & Answer Solicitation Amendment 5
RFQQ246 Print Services
Question: Given that we have done work for your organization recently, I do actually have samples from those recent projects and could provide those if that is acceptable. Can you let me know if that works?
Answer: Washington’s Lottery is working hard to support an unbiased evaluation process. Please DO NOT send samples of work done for us as that may bias the evaluation team and be cause for disqualification.
No questions or responses included in this document require any change to the solicitation document, this document stands alone.
Any additional questions regarding the solicitation must be directed to the Procurement
Coordinator listed below.
