About this file

This document is a Letter of Authorization (RFB.LOA.VII.2025) for the City of Oklahoma City or related Public Trust, designed to authorize an agent to sign a legally binding document on behalf of a bidder when the statutorily authorized officer has not done so. The form provides specific guidance for different types of business entities (corporations, LLCs, partnerships, and joint ventures) regarding who is considered an authorized signatory, with detailed requirements for each entity type.

The document specifies that for corporations, the authorizing officer must be an officer with titles such as President, Vice-President, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chairperson, or Vice-Chairperson, as defined in the bylaws or board resolutions. For LLCs, the authorized person must have an ownership interest or be designated to manage the LLC, with potential titles including Manager, Managing Member, Owner, Principal, President, or Vice-President. Partnerships require a General Partner, while joint ventures need an Authorized Officer from each venture to sign the document.
