About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for a construction project at Naval Air Facility Atsugi in Japan. The amendment schedules a second site visit on July 19th, extends the bid submission deadline from July 26th to August 2nd, and modifies site visit procedures and documentation requirements. The underlying project involves installing a new direct digital control system and smart grid infrastructure at six facilities to monitor and control HVAC and energy systems. Network equipment and fiber optic cabling will connect the control systems to the installation's Control System Platform Enclave and Far East Facility Energy Operations Center for remote monitoring and control. Bidders must comply with Risk Management Framework requirements and the project magnitude is estimated between 100 million and 500 million yen.
