About this file
This document provides details on a federal solicitation for ship maintenance and repair services. The Naval Sea Systems Command is seeking proposals for the FY20 Selected Restricted Availability of the USS BATAAN (LHD 5) through solicitation N00024-20-R-4467. The availability includes maintenance, modernization, and repair work and will require facilities including a pier capable of accommodating USS WASP class ships. The contractor will be responsible for completing, coordinating, and integrating multiple areas of ship maintenance, repair, and modernization. Proposals are due on or around June 2020 and the period of performance is anticipated to run from September 2020 through December 2021 at a contractor facility on the East or Gulf Coast of the United States. An award will be made to a single contractor by June 2020.
The solicitation will be released through the beta.SAM.gov platform and interested parties must register in the System for Award Management. Specification packages and pricing workbooks will be provided directly to contractors upon request due to file size limitations. The requirement is not set aside for small businesses due to its magnitude, complexity and duration.
