About this file
This document contains a solicitation and schedule model review agenda for the USS BATAAN (LHD 5) FY20 Selected Restricted Availability (SRA). The Naval Sea Systems Command issues solicitation N00024-20-R-4467 seeking a contractor to execute maintenance, modernization, and repair of the USS BATAAN from September 2020 through December 2021. The availability requires facilities including a capable pier, resources to complete ship maintenance and repair, and experience with USS WASP-class ships. Interested parties must register in the System for Award Management and monitor beta.SAM.gov for proposal details. The schedule model review agenda outlines an expected 5-7 day meeting for the integrated production schedule with attendees from the government, lead maintenance activity, subcontractors, and ship's force to validate integration and de-conflict activities. Deliverables include updated schedules and plans for early start candidates, work authorization forms, pier layout, fire drills, and process control procedures.
