About this file

This is a Location Specification Sheet (LSS) issued by the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) Environmental Services Section for aerial drone herbicide application services at a wetland mitigation site. The project involves herbicide treatment of up to 6 acres of Phragmites at the River Raisin Watershed Bank located on the south side of Braun Road in Bridgewater Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan. The contracting agency is MDOT, with procurement oversight managed by the Contract Services Division, Purchasing Unit under the direction of ReChelle Kendrick (517-335-5905, KendrickR1@michigan.gov). The program manager is Jeremie Wilson (517-335-4394, WilsonJ3@michigan.gov). The LSS provides the site location details and establishes the framework for bid submission, though specific contract start dates, end dates, and response deadlines are not included in this document.

Bidders must submit pricing proposals on a cost-per-acre basis for aerial drone herbicide treatment, with all costs including materials, staging, and application. The pricing schedule must be submitted in the modifiable format provided, with an optional non-modifiable version permitted as a supplement. Shape files delineating the treatment areas will be provided to successful bidders following bid review and award. Contractors certify that pricing is independently determined. The state reserves the right to purchase quantities less than those listed and is not obligated to award the full contract scope.
