All pricing must be submitted as firm fixed unit rates and include California sales tax (9.75%), training, tire fees, and freight. LSBE preference is available for Metro-certified firms or bidders subcontracting at least 30 percent of contract value with eligible LSBE firms. The warranty must cover two years or 2,000 hours minimum for the tractor and manufacturer's standard for other components, with zero deductible. Bidders must submit a bid bond or certified check equal to at least ten percent of the bid price and comply with FTA drug and alcohol testing requirements and noncollusion affidavits.
