Performance Work Statement (PWS) Rapid Development Integration Facility (RDIF) 30MM Dummy Round Fabrication Task Order 0001
| 1.0 | Description of Services: The Contractor shall provide sheet metal labor, materials, program management labor, and quality assurance expertise for the 30MM Dummy Round project. These individuals will perform to the standards and specifications contained in the RDIF IDIQ PWS. |
| 2.0 | Background: The RDIF has been tasked by the AC-130 Gunship program office (AFLCMC/WISS) to produce 10 30MM dummy rounds, both casing and projectile as a solid piece, with all 10 made out of stainless steel (Type 416). |
2.1. The contractor shall purchase material IAW with attached documentation. Once received the contractor shall produce 10 30MM dummy rounds (both casing and projectile as a solid piece) made out of stainless steel (Type 416) IAW with attached documentation.
3.0 Scope:
3.1 The contractor shall provide the sheet metal labor, materials, program management labor and quality assurance expertise to produce the 10 30MM dummy rounds (both casing and projectile as a solid piece) made out of stainless steel (Type 416). The rounds will be bored (boring bars are available in the RDIF tool kits) out from the primer end of the round and then capped and sealed. The cap shall include a small indentation in the center to prevent a firing pin from striking the cap. Max allowable weight of the entire round is 1.6 lbs (+ 0.05 lbs or - 0.10 lbs), center of gravity is at 5.55 inches (± 0.15 inches) from the primer end of the round and max allowable length is 11.416 inches (+ 0.00 inches or – 0.05 inches). The attached drawings are to be used for dimensioning of the dummy round, include the two bands on the projectile portion as shown in Drawing # 7800083.
4.0 Program Management: The Contractor shall plan, organize, coordinate, and control all task order activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements, and the timely delivery of the required services. The Contractor shall designate a Program Manager who will be the primary point of contact for interface with the Government for all issues regarding this task order.
5.0 Specific Tasks/Objectives:
The contractor shall provide:
1) Materials
2) Labor
3) Program Management oversight
4) Quality Assurance The RDIF shall provide:
1) AFLCMC/WISS PO functional involvement.
2) Program funding.
3) Documentation (see attached drawings).
6.0 Principal Place of Performance / Hours of Operation: Work in support of this task order shall be primarily performed at Building 148, WPAFB, OH and at various Temporary Duty (TDY) locations as directed. Normal work days are Monday through Friday, except United States (U.S.) Federal holidays. Workers normally work eight (8) hours per day, 40 hours per week, or as otherwise specified. Normal work hours are based on flex time. Flex time workers shall start no earlier than 0600 and no later than 0900. Core hours of work are from 0900 to 1500 daily. All employees are expected to be available during core hours.

9.0 Travel Requirements: N/A
10.0 Government Furnished Items: The Contractor will have access to and shall use the Government supplied facilities, supplies, and equipment required to accomplish the efforts described above (i.e., work space, test equipment, tools, machinery, office supplies, etc).

15.0 Mission Essential Services: Contractor personnel performing this task order are not considered mission essential.
16.0 Schedule: Rounds are to be completed within 60 days of Contract Award.
