1. There are some handwritten notes on the drawings. Are we to disregard them? YES. DISREGARD ANY HANDWRITTEN NOTES.
2. Are the bollards in front of the new condensing unit existing or new? NEW. SEE DWG A-7, DETAIL J FOR MORE INFORMATION.
3. Please provide thickness required for the pad that the new condensing unit sits on. MINIMUM SIX INCHES, OR WHATEVER STRENGTH IS NEEDED FOR THE WEIGHT OF THE EQUIPMENT, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
4. It was indicated during the walkthrough that the occupants and furnishings will be relocated to the alternate command post prior to the contractor coming on site. THIS IS INCORRECT.
However section 01 01 00 of the specifications indicates that the contractor is to relocate furniture to the alternate command post in B125. Please clarify. CONTRACTOR TO RELOCATE FURNITURE TO LOCATIONS AS LISTED IN SPEC SECTION 01 01 00 PARA 1.07 (NOT ALL IN B125).
5. As this area was not reviewed during the walkthrough please advise what the access to B125 (double doors, ground floor, etc.) is if we are to move the furniture to B125. ACCESS IS AVAILABLE THROUGH A SINGLE WIDTH DOOR AT GROUND LEVEL.
6. We are assuming that the ‘Conex Box’ referenced in section 01 01 00 is the conditioned trailers that the contractor provides? CORRECT.
7. Also in specification section 01 01 00 it references that the conditioned storage trailers are to be placed on the RRR pad. Please advise where the RRR pad location is in proximity to the work area and if temporary power is available for the storage trailers.
RRR PAD IS LOCATED BEHIND THE WASH BAY, B324 AT THE SOUTHEAST PART OF THE BASE. TEMPORARY POWER IS AVAILABLE.
8. Can you provide a copy of the MIL-HB-232A criteria for the red power drops? AVAILABLE AT https://www.wbdg.org/ccb/FEDMIL/hdbk232a.pdf
9. Are the CCTV components and cabling part of this contract or are we only to provide pathways and 120V power? NO. CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE CONDUIT AND POWER ONLY.
10. Drawing E-5 Note 1 calls for the EC to route an additional ¾” conduit from the video controller to each wall monitor. How many wall monitors are there and where are the located? MONITORS ARE SHOWN ON DRAWING A-4.
